Sauna Trailer Guide

Helpful planning information for successful site-selection and sauna trailer placement

Site Suitability

Flat, level ground is an important aspect in the safety and comfort of you and your guests while

using the sauna. Inclines over 8 degrees (from front to back or left to right) can be uncomfortable

and dangerous for your guests and property. We recommend picking out two potential locations for

the sauna just in case one location does not meet the requirements.

All of our trailers have a back porch and a passenger-side loading door (for easy access to the

stove). A 10’ wide space is necessary for door and wall clearance.

The sauna site needs a minimum width of 10’ wide and a minimum length of 22-26’ (depending on

the length of the trailer rented). This enables our tow vehicle to park the sauna and detach with

enough clearance to safely depart the property. The sauna must be parked in a position which

allows the tow vehicle to depart after detaching the sauna. Because our trailers are quite heavy, and

because of size and weight constraints, we are not currently able to carry extra equipment which

allow us to manually move the trailers into position.

The road/driveway/path leading to the drop off location must be navigable by a 2-wheel drive

vehicle. A steep incline may result in our vehicle not being able to push/pull the sauna trailer up the

incline. Severe angle changes may prevent the trailer from proceeding due to it bottoming out on

the ground. If a turn around is necessary to navigate or park the trailer, please note that our tow

vehicles need between 2.5-3 lane widths to complete the u-turn.

If site feasibility cannot be assessed remotely, an in-person walk-thru of your property will be

arranged in advance of the rental date(s).

Stand-by Time

Our sauna rentals include a 30 min window of “stand-by” time for delivery and pick-up. This is

time that your drive is on-site but is not setting up or breaking down the sauna trailer. Additional

waiting time is assessed at a cost of $15 per quarter hour.
